Donald Eyster ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc. - Spring Grove on Mar. 16, 2026.Donald Melvin Eyster passed away quietly in his sleep on March 13, 2026 at the age of 92. He was the son of Melvin Luther and Myrtle Mae (Ruth) Eyster. Donald is survived by his children Robin; Angela and her husband Patrick Lohrey; and Joseph as well as Joe's children, Victoria and Christian. He was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Helen B. (Altland) Eyster (divorced). Donald's long-time companion Evelyn "Peg" Adams also preceded him in death.Donald graduated from East Berlin High School in 1951. He was active in the FFA and played trombone in the school band.He served in the U.S. Army from December 1953 to November 1955, spending most of his service in Alaska.Donald was a dairy farmer. After he slowed down farming and no longer milked cows for a living, he served Jackson Township as a supervisor for 14 years. Donald also spent time with his son Joe restoring Oliver tractors, winning many awards at shows. He also enjoyed model railroading.He will be interred at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in a private ceremony.Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., of Spring Grove is entrusted with arrangements.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
