Donald Leonard "Donnie" Walch

Donald Leonard Walch of Molalla, Oregon, passed away on March 6, 2026, at the age of 81. Born on August 4, 1944, near Molalla, he was the eldest of three children in a farming family. He attended Eby School and graduated from Molalla High School. In 1964, he married Madeline Kummer, and the two remained devoted to each other until her death in 2021.

Don and Madeline built their home in 1965 and lived there together for more than five decades. He worked as an auto mechanic throughout his life and found great joy in farming as a hobby. Known for his steady presence and quiet dedication, Don cherished his family and the land that had always been part of his life.

He is survived by his brother, Rollie Walch, his sister, Joanne Free, his children Michelle and Christopher, his granddaughter Bahiyyih, and three nieces: Misty Hesse and her daughters Lydia and Autumn.
