Donald L. Harvey, Jr.

Donald Harvey, Jr., 58, of Cayuga, New York, died on March 10, 2026, in Auburn Community Hospital.

Born on January 12, 1968, to Donald and Mary Harvey, Sr., Don grew up in the Auburn area and graduated from Auburn High School. He spent most of his working life in the construction field, where his hands-on approach and steady presence earned him the respect of those who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Harvey, Sr. and Mary Rivers. Don is survived by his children Donella Harvey, Derrick Harvey, and Daymian Harvey, his step-daughter Alaina Hudson, all of Auburn, and their mother, Stacee Harvey; his children Dominique Harvey, Darrian Harvey, and Brandon Hoey; Bonnie Baker, who served as foster mother to his children and remained a devoted family friend; his siblings Steven (Carrie) Harvey of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, Stephanie (Michael) Ringler of Enola, Pennsylvania, and Sean (Karen) Harvey of Auburn; and his step-siblings Pamela (Michael) Davis, Dennis Schmutzler, George Schmutzler, Timothy Schmutzler, Julie Harriger, and Crystal (Michael) Wild.

Private services will be held at a future time at the convenience of the family.
