He is survived by: his wife Marcella M. (Marcia); his children, David M. (Sandy) of Elyria, Donald T. (Catherine) of Elyria, Brian J. (Gina) of Elyria and Renee C. Barrett (Richard) of Avon; and his sister Mary Andrewski (Bob) of Elyria. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home, Inc. (38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd, Elyria, OH 44035). A Mass will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. Jude Church (590 Poplar St, Elyria, OH 44035).

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions in Don's memory be sent to St. Jude Church.
