Donald J. Freeman III, 60, of Webster, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, to Eileen (Christie) Perry and the late Donald J. Freeman Jr., Donald spent his early years in New York before moving to Florida in his youth. In 2015 he settled in Massachusetts with his partner, Patricia Carroll.
A passionate collector of rock n’ roll memorabilia, Donald was rarely without music playing, favoring bands such as AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and Kiss. He enjoyed researching his family ancestry and, above all, treasured the time he spent with his children and his granddaughter Bonnie, who was the pride and joy of his life. His quick wit and irrepressible sense of humor brought laughter to his family until the very end.
Donald is survived by his six children, Chris Freeman and his wife Serenity of New York, Danielle Woodworth of Florida, Ryan Freeman of North Carolina, Kayla Freeman of North Carolina, Elizabeth Haire of Webster, and Krystal Carroll of Idaho; his beloved granddaughter Bonnie Freeman; his mother Eileen Perry of Margate, Florida; his partner and caregiver Patricia Carroll of Webster; and four siblings. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Jr., and three siblings.
