Donald Gilleland ObituaryVisit the Conner-Westbury Funeral Home website to view the full obituary.A Celebration of Life will be held for Donald Gilleland on Saturday April 18, 2026 from 1:00pm – 3:00 pm at Providence Church at Rock Springs 1013 Chappel Mill Rd., Milner, GA 30257 for anyone who would like to attend.Donald Gilleland, 73 of Spalding County, passed away on Tuesday February 3, 2026 in Enterprise, AL surrounded by his loving family.Donald worked as a Master Auto Tech for 46 years, a career that perfectly reflected his nature as a true jack of all trades. He loved being outdoors and could often be found tinkering, taking things apart, and figuring out how they worked. Donald had a curious mind and a hands-on spirit, always happiest when he was fixing, building, or learning something new.Above all, Donald cherished time spent with his family. He loved being together, sharing laughs, and enjoying simple moments –especially family games of Farkle, where he proudly held the title of champion. In 1999, Donald joined the Moose Lodge #1503, where he found joy in serving others and giving back to his community. His willingness to help, kind heart, and friendly presence left a lasting impression on all who knew him.He was preceded in death by his grandson JD Wood; parents, Noah and Flona Gilleland; five siblings, Lillian Pitts, Geneva Fouts, Junior Gilleland, Bell Kendrick, Imagene Butler; and his fur baby Rocky.Survivors include the love of his life of 33 years, Lana Gilleland of Griffin, GA; two daughters, Lisa Pair (Jerry) of Enterprise, AL, and Donna Gilleland of Griffin, GA; two sons, Patrick O'Brian (Kimberly) of Bowman, GA, and Michael O'Brian (Doreen) of Griffin, GA; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; brother Ronald Gilleland (Betty) of Gainesville, GA; sister, Mae Thayer of Thomaston, GA; along with many nieces and nephews.Read The Full Obituary
