Donald LOHRMAN ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Shadel's Colonial Chapel - Lebanon on Mar. 15, 2026.Donald "Don" Eugene Lohrman, son of Walter and Beulah (Pattie) Lohrman, was born January 2, 1953, in Lafayette, Indiana, and passed away March 14, 2026, at his home surrounded by family, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of seventy-three years.Don grew up in Indiana and was the third of four children. He carried that role with quiet strength and humor throughout his life.On December 10, 2021, Don married the love of his life, Karen Carroll-Davis. Together they built a life filled with laughter, care and simple joys. Don loved taking care of Karen. They took many annual trips to Ha Ha Tonka and shared many fond memories of those times. Don and Karen especially enjoyed dancing around the living room as often as possible.He spent forty-three years as a truck driver and was deeply proud of his career. During that time, Don drove Show Truck's and other Semi's for Jonny Morris, earning the respect of many along the road. He enjoyed working closely with Jack Blankenship building houses. He took great pride in working with his hands. Outside of work, Don loved fishing, hunting, gambling, and spending time with friends. He truly never met a stranger, and had many lasting relationships.Don was a devoted husband, father, brother and friend. He especially cherished the relationships with his children and grandchildren. The time spent and memories made brought his life purpose.He is survived by his loving wife, Karen Lohrman, of the home; his step-children, Tabitha Triplett, of Lebanon, Missouri, Lloyd Weaver and his wife Heather of Lebanon, Missouri and Eric Oursbourn and his wife Jessie, of Richland, Missouri; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister, Janet Lee Litherland and her husband Jeff of Logansport, Indiana; one brother, John Howard Lohrman of Carson City, Nevada; and his loyal and loving dog, Casino; other relatives and many dear friends.Don is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Deloris Johnson.Don will be remembered for his big heart, hardworking spirit, love of the open road and the deep devotion he had for his family- especially his beloved Karen. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
