Donald Edward "Eddie" McClary Sr.

Donald “Eddie” Edward McClary, Sr., 82, of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on March 12, 2026 from complications related to COPD and heart issues.

Born on May 22, 1943 in Washington, DC to the late Mildred Rasnick and William McClary, Eddie graduated from Anacostia High School and later earned his GED while serving in the United States Army. He attended Central Texas College and proudly served his country for more than twenty years, attending numerous military training schools and traveling extensively during his career. He retired as a Sergeant First Class.

In his free time, Eddie found joy in singing karaoke and playing pool. He is remembered fondly by his children, Donald McClary of Longview, Texas and Dixie Fay McKee of Diana, Texas; his brother, John McClary of Baltimore, Maryland; his grandchildren, Nicholas McKee of Diana, Texas and Charlene McKee of Longview, Texas; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Eddie will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
