Donald E. Tefertiller

Donald F. Tefertiller, age 91, passed away on March 7, 2026. Born on July 9, 1934, in Quay, Oklahoma, to Hubert and Naomi Tefertiller, he was raised in Ellenwood, Kansas, and graduated from Alice High School in 1952. He went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&I in Kingsville in 1956.

In 1960, Donald married the love of his life, Wilma Hickerson. Their marriage spanned 66 beautiful years filled with devotion and companionship. He worked for DXP/Sepco for more than 40 years and took great pride in providing for his family. Above all, Donald was a loving son, husband, father, and grandfather who cherished every moment spent with those closest to him. He enjoyed golfing, bird hunting, and simply being surrounded by family.

He will be remembered for his sharp sarcasm, quick wit, love of laughter, and wonderful sense of humor that could brighten any room.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Naomi Tefertiller. He is survived by his beloved wife, Wilma Tefertiller; his children, Lisa Tanner and Tom Tefertiller (Joan); and his granddaughter, Stephanie Burman (David).
