Preserve forever →Donald C. Craiglow
West Seneca, NY
Donald C. Craiglow, born November 22, 1950, in Buffalo, New York, passed away peacefully at home on March 2, 2026, at the age of 75 after a long battle with chronic illness. The son of the late James and Mildred Craiglow, Don was raised in a household that emphasized honesty and integrity. A lifelong resident of West Seneca, he enjoyed a distinguished career as a Deputy Officer with the Erie County Sheriff’s Department before pursuing his passion for firearms by owning and operating Craiglow’s Gun Shop, one of the largest gun stores in Western New York.
Don was a gifted craftsman and mechanic whose talents were evident in everything he touched. He built his own home and created intricate LGB model railroad layouts that reflected his attention to detail and love of precision. Known for his sharp wit and remarkable ability to repair nearly anything, he was also an avid motorcycle enthusiast and proud member of the Harley Owners Group. Those who knew him will remember his dedication, ingenuity, and the many projects he brought to life with his hands and his heart.
He is survived by his loving family and a wide circle of friends who will miss him dearly. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to The Michael J. Fox Foundation.
