Donald Brown Sr

Donald Brown Sr., age 85, passed away at his residence on March 10, 2026. Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on September 17, 1940, to the late Henry and Dolly Brown, he remained a lifelong resident of the area and lived a life grounded in his Baptist faith. His love for the Lord was the foundation of his character, and his deepest devotion was to his family, especially his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. He also cherished music, particularly the songs of Jim Reeves and Jerry Lee Lewis.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Carol Brown Longwith; his son, Donald Brown Jr.; his grandson, Donald Brown III; his wife, Betty Joyce Brown; and numerous brothers and sisters.

Donald is survived by his children, Rhonda Scoggins, Gayla (Ray) Richmond, Judy Renee King, and Annette (Darryl) King, along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
