Don Johnson Obituary March 2, 2026 - Burquitlam Funeral Home

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of J. Donald T. Johnson on March 2, 2026 at the age of 85.Born June 22nd, 1940 in Parkhill Ontario, Don spent his youth in Ontario where he met and married Joan, and welcomed their girls Joanne and Carol-Lynn. In 1971, Don and his family moved to British Columbia, making their home in Coquitlam. He spent his later years in Pitt Meadows with his second wife, Maggie. Being a Father and Grandfather brought him his greatest joy.Throughout his life, Don was a proud and dedicated member of his community. He spent many years curling and coaching youth at the Coquitlam Curling Club and was an active member of the Coquitlam Optimist Club. He was deeply respected for his kindness and integrity by everyone who knew him.Don will be deeply missed by his daughters Joanne (Joe) and Carol-Lynn (Tony); grandchildren Gabby, Olivia and Derek; sister Ella-Marie (Dale). He was recently predeceased by his brother Garry (Judy).Though he is gone, his love and guidance will remain with us always.If desired, donations to the Alzheimer's Society may be made in his memory.
