Donna was born in the Bronx on June 5, 1947 to the late Dominick and Paola (Matacchieri) Lospoto. She and her beloved husband, Richard Blau spent many happy years together until his death in 2002.Donna was a loving mother and grandmother who was the happiest when spending time with her family. She was a devout Christian who loved God and had a very strong faith. Donna was the administrator at the Highland Assisted Living in Highland, NY where she took pride in her job, especially bringing her grandchildren there during all different party events.She painted beautiful pictures in her spare time, and she also loved to read and write and research just about any topic that caught her interest. She took many memorable family trips to Atlantic City to play the slot machines.Donna is survived by her daughter Donna Blau (Benjamin Rodriguez Sr.); her grandchildren: Benjamin Rodriguez Jr. and Ava Rodriguez; her sister Rosalie Lauterbach; her niece Christine Russell; her nephew Thomas Hurray; and her great nephew Frank Meditz.Funeral Services are private and under the direction of the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
