Dolores Vernice Pullen
July 23, 1948— March 7, 2026
Roy, UT
Dolores Vernice Pullen was a witty, supportive, loving, and funny woman who touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Born on July 23, 1948, in Vallejo, California, she filled her 77 years with laughter, kindness, and an unwavering dedication to those she loved. Known for her quick wit and playful sense of humor, Dolores had a special talent for making people smile, even on their hardest days. Her laughter and spirit were infectious.
She served as a civilian worker at Hill Air Force Base for 35 years until her retirement in 2001. Outside of work, Dolores was an avid reader and crossword puzzle enthusiast who held a deep affection for animals, especially dogs, cats, and dolphins. She found great joy in celebrating the achievements of her family members. In her later years, she could often be found navigating the care facility in her electric wheelchair, sharing jokes and laughter with those around her.
Above all, Dolores was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. She remained a constant source of support and love for her family, including her daughter, Jeanne Walker; her son, Larry Richard “Rick” Pullen Jr.; and her grandchildren, Shayla Sanguinetti (Gary), Tia Walker (Edgar), and Eric Walker II. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Larry Pullen; her parents, James and Wilma May; her brother, James May Jr.; and other dear friends and family. Her love, laughter, and light will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who knew her.
