Dolores R. (Mero) Law

Dolores R. (Mero) Law, 92, formerly of Millbury, passed away peacefully at home on March 11th with her family by her side.

Born in Worcester, Dolores grew up in a large family and carried those strong family traditions with her throughout her life. She attended Girls’ Trade School in Worcester and worked as a seamstress before marrying her beloved husband, George Law, in 1953. The couple shared 62 wonderful years of marriage until his passing.

Dolores was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joy was caring for her family. She loved hosting gatherings in her home, especially during the holidays, and her warmth made her house a place where family and friends always felt welcome to share food, laughter, and memories. Known for her exceptional cooking and baking, particularly her Italian dishes and sweets, she was affectionately regarded as the neighborhood mother, always ready with treats for the children nearby.

She is survived by her loving children, daughter Doreen Westermark and her husband John, and son Kenneth Law and his spouse William Bushey; three grandchildren, Ashley Westermark, Anna Dzhambov and her husband Hristo, and Eric Westermark; and her cherished great-granddaughter Emelia Dzhambov. Dolores was predeceased by her husband George, her sisters Grace Astrella, Ida Mangiulli, and Angelina Pozzessere, and her brothers Frank and John Mero.

She will be remembered for her generosity, her stylish grace, her love of travel, country music, and the spontaneous Sunday road trips she shared with George.
