Dolores Marie Caramante

Dolores Caramante of Rochester passed away on March 5, 2026 at the age of 95, with her son by her side. Born on April 7, 1930, she cherished her childhood in a large, close-knit Italian family filled with aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A sharp dresser who always took great pride in her appearance, Dolores found joy in spending time with her family, traveling, visiting the casino, playing cards, enjoying seafood, and playing Bingo. She was known for her constant energy, feisty spirit, and fierce independence. Only in her final year of illness did she learn patience, teaching those around her profound lessons about the grace of acceptance.

She was predeceased by her husband, Jerry; her mother, Olympia Bonadonna; and her brother, Gerald (Ida) Bonadonna. Dolores will be forever loved and deeply missed by her son, David (Tatiana) Calabria, her brother Daniel (Lyn) Vitale, and her many nieces and nephews.
