Dolores M. Montoya

Dolores M. Montoya, 86, of El Prado, passed away on March 12, 2026.

Dolores left this world to be reunited with the love of her life, Ernesto. She was preceded in death by her high school sweetheart and husband, Ernesto M. Montoya of El Prado; her sons, Julian E. Montoya and Julian A. Montoya; her parents, Faustin and Clorinda Archuleta of Ranchos; her sisters, Temia and Erma Archuleta; her brothers, Vilkie and Phillip Archuleta (Diana); and her in-laws, Juan Jose “JJ” and Juanita Montoya, and Arturo and Facha Montoya, all of El Prado.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Loretta N. Montoya-Duran; her grandchildren, John Michael Duran, Stephanie Duran (Tim Lerma), and Cherrie Montoya; her brother, Faustin Archuleta (Ramona); her brother- and sister-in-law, Rumaldo and Cora Garcia; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, dozens of godchildren, and a wide circle of extended family and friends. Her family extends special gratitude to John Duran, whose kind, caring, and steadfast support as her friend and caregiver brought her great comfort.
