Lowell, MA
Dolores M. “Dolly” (Laferriere) Fisette, age 84, passed away on March 9, 2026 at her home in Lowell, surrounded by her loving family. A longtime resident of Dracut before moving to Lowell ten years ago, she was the beloved wife of the late Roger G. Fisette, with whom she shared 65 years of marriage until his passing in 2023.
Born on February 21, 1942, Dolly was the daughter of the late Henry and Florence (Laferriere) Laferriere. She began her career as a hairstylist after graduating from the Lowell Academy Hair Styling Institute and later worked as a sales associate for Walmart until her retirement. A longtime parishioner of Ste. Marguerite d’Youville Church in Dracut, she found simple joys in playing bingo, watching her favorite game shows, working on puzzles, and sewing. She also cherished the companionship of her Shetland Collies, Colby and Smokey, and her beloved dog Pickles.
Dolly is survived by her two daughters, Debra Ozella and her husband Bruce of Lowell, and Denise DeSimone and her husband Robert of Florida; her eight grandchildren, Nicole Florez and her husband Alejandro, Roger Turcotte and his wife Ashley, Abigail Kristiansen and her husband Erik, Cassandra Furey and her husband Anthony, Robert Kukulski and his fiancée Amanda Torres, Alec DeSimone, and Nicholas DeSimone; her twelve great-grandchildren; her sister, Theresa LeVasseur; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her granddaughter Ashley Sargent and her sister Claire Bellerose.
