Dolores Kress

Dolores Kress of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, born in Kingsport, Tennessee, passed away on March 14, 2026, at the age of 90. Known affectionately as Dee, she lived a life marked by quiet strength, deep devotion to family, and a lifelong commitment to helping others.

She was predeceased by her husband, Tom “Tommy” Kress, and her child, Reid (Cheryl). She is survived by her children, Wendy (Charles) and Tyler; and her grandchildren, Ryan, Lindsey (Zak), Jessica (Peter), Adam, Taylor (Jessica), Kurtis (Shae), Bob, Kacie, Gavin, and Fletcher. She also raised her younger brother.

Dee’s warmth, generosity, and steadfast care for those around her left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. Her family will carry forward the values she lived by, remembering her with love and gratitude for the many lives she touched.
