It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dollie J. Rooks of Joplin, Missouri, who passed away on February 28, 2026, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Rooks and Christiane Rooks; and her grandmother Jeanne Lapanne. She is survived by: her brother Kal Rooks (Jamie); her niece Victoria Stout (Garrison); and her great-niece Winter Stout.

A burial will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Forest Park Cemetery (102 N Rangeline Rd, Joplin, MO 64801). Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mason-Woodard Chapel (3701 E 7th St, Joplin, MO 64801). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 1:00 PM and at 2:00 PM.
