She was predeceased by: her parents, Stelian Cherciu and Elena Cherciu. She is survived by: her brother Dr. Mugurel S. Cherciu of Shrewsbury; and her aunt Juliet Boboc of Romania. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home (100 Elton-Adelphia Rd, Freehold Township, NJ 07728). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Gabriel's Historic Church (549 County Rd 520, Marlboro, NJ 07746). A burial will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 11:45 AM at the St. Gabriel´s Cemetery and Chapel (549 Newman Springs Rd, Marlboro, NJ 07746).
