A Memorial Visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00 PM on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel in Clinton. Memorial contributions can be made to Share and Care and may be left in care of the funeral home.Dixie Lee Tshappat, born in 1951 in Sedalia, MO, passed away peacefully at her home in Calhoun, Mo, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories with family and friends who loved her dearly. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother whose greatest joy in life was spending time with her family.Dixie shared 35 loving years of marriage with her husband, Russell, Tshappat. Together they built a life centered on family, love and creating lasting memories.Dixie loved creating a warm and welcoming home. She enjoyed gardening and decorating, always taking pride in making her house a place where loved ones could gather. She also loved cooking and sharing meals with family, bringing people together around the table. Some of herhappiest memories were made during family vacations and quiet moments spent with those she loved most.Dixie dedicated 15 years of her life working with Four Seasons, where she built friendships and touched many lives through her hard work and caring nature.Above all Dixie treasured her grandbabies and great grandbabies, who bought her endless pride and happiness. Her kindness, warmth, and deep love for her family will be remembered by all who knew her.Dixie is proceeded in death by her parents Donald and Della Waterfield, brother Donald Waterfield Jr. She was survived by Russell Tshappat, her children Keith Winston(Deb), Crystal (Edward Hanson), Amanda (Devan Atchley) She is also survived by Zachary Wise, Christopher Wise, Altheia Wise, Jakob Baumgarden, Melissa (Eric Ray), Austin Atchley, Max Hanson, Lucas Hanson, and her great-granddaughters Skylynn, Eliza and Addie Wise. And her beloved sister Diana Waterfield.Dixie's love, kindness and memories, she created with her family, will live in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.Obituary submitted by the famliy.
