She lived life on her own terms, embracing every experience with curiosity and courage. Her life was one of adventure and discovery, including time spent living in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where she immersed herself in different cultures and religions. She believed deeply in understanding the world and the people in it.Dianne was incredibly loquacious and never afraid to speak her mind. She told the truth as she saw it, often without a filter, but it was part of what made her so genuine and deeply endearing to those who knew her. Her honesty was paired with a sharp wit and a warm heart that drew people to her.An inquisitive spirit, Dianne was always eager to learn. She was an avid reader who believed education never stopped and that every subject held something worth discovering. She was open-minded and believed wholeheartedly that people should live authentically and stand proudly in their truths.More than anything, Dianne loved her daughter, Dedra. She devoted her life to giving her every opportunity she possibly could, working hard and making sacrifices so that her daughter could experience the world fully. She shared her adventures, her curiosity, and her fearless approach to life, passing along the same spirit of independence and wonder that defined her own journey.Dianne worked for Texas Instruments, where she built a career marked by dedication and perseverance.She is survived by her loving daughter, Dedra Bass, and son-in-law, Michael Bass. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Taylor Paige Horn (Ryan Davis), Keylon Mark Logston (Madison Ramirez), and Kolby Lee Logston. Her legacy continues through her beloved great-grandchildren: Bentley William Davis, Leah Riley Commons, Jonah Jude Commons, and Ava Leigh Logston.Dianne is also survived by her sister, Connie Stevens McVeigh; nephews Jeremy James (Boni) and Ryan Cox; and nieces Cindy Nichols (David) and Jacie Bishop, along with many extended family members and friends who will remember her vibrant spirit.She was preceded in death by her parents, J.C. Stevens and Nina Dudley Stevens; her sister, Donna Kay James; her brother, Larry Stevens; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.Dianne will be remembered for her fearless honesty, her endless curiosity, and her unwavering belief that life should be lived boldly and truthfully. She did not simply pass through life; she experienced it fully, questioned it deeply, and left it more honest than she found it.Her daughter carries forward a lifetime of love, gratitude, and memories of a mother whose devotion, sacrifices, and unwavering belief in her can never truly be repaid, but will forever be cherished. Through her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Dianne's spirit lives on; the same curiosity, strength, honesty, and independence that defined her life continuing to echo through the generations she loved so deeply.A celebration of Dianne's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor her remarkable spirit and the many lives she touched.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
