Diane R. Holland, a devoted educator and beloved mother of Greenville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at Emory Johns Creek Hospital, Hospice Unit in Fulton County, Georgia.
A lifelong learner, Diane earned her undergraduate degree from Wright State University and her Master’s degree from the University of Dayton. She taught for many years at Arcanum Middle School, where her dedication and skill in the classroom were recognized when she was named a Jennings Scholar, an honor given to Ohio’s most outstanding public-school teachers.
For more than five decades, Diane was the steadfast partner of her husband, Howard H. Holland. As his wife of 57 years, she supported him not only at home but also in his business endeavors, including Holland Sign Advertising.
Diane is survived by her loving son, Michael Holland and his wife, Marcia, of Dawsonville, Georgia; her cherished granddaughter, Cameron, of Fulton County, Georgia; her brother, John (Betty) Reece; her nephews, Todd Reece, Chad White and Dr. Scott White; and her niece, Amy DeRose. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard, her sister Donna, and her parents Kenyon and Barbara Reece.
