She was 71 years old.Born in Abington, PA, Diane was the daughter of the late Vander and Genevieve McKeever Lekites. She was the sister of the late Charles Lekites and Dolores Micklas.Diane raised her daughters in Roslyn, PA. She held many caretaking positions throughout her life working with children as a classroom aide at Ambler Catholic Elementary School and Walton Farm Elementary School. She was a driver at Pine Run Retirement Community, a bus driver for Central Bucks and retired from bus driving at Centennial School District in 2024. She loved gardening, reading, traveling with her niece Donna and spending time with her family and friends most of all. Her happiest moments were spent with her grandchildren.Diane will be missed tremendously by her daughters and their spouses, Linda and James Heiss and Kimberly Davies and Marjorie Daniels; her grandchildren, Gryphin Dean (Josephina Mason), Madden Heiss and Paxon Heiss; her sisters, Genevieve Lawson and Carol Passerini and many loving extended family members and friends.Relatives and friends are invited to greet Diane's family on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 10:00am, until the start of her Tribute at 11:00am, at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home at 241 East Butler Avenue (at Sandy Ridge Road) in New Britain, PA 18901.
