Liberty Center, OH
Diane Kay Gwinn-Myles, age 73, of Liberty Center, Ohio, was born on May 28, 1952, in Hinton, West Virginia, to Clinton and Deloris Gwinn. She passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, March 10, 2026, at The Toledo Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Diane graduated from Lake High School in 1970. She worked as a bus driver for Liberty Center Schools before retiring, and she devoted herself to helping her husband, Kenneth, run their family farm. A woman of vibrant spirit, she held a deep affection for her home state of West Virginia, eagerly returning to visit family whenever she could. She was a devoted fan of West Virginia Mountaineers football and basketball, proudly displaying her loyalty with a “WEST VA” vanity license plate. Diane cherished animals, especially horses, and often traveled with her beloved dogs. She found great joy in raising chickens and tending her garden.
She and Kenneth shared many adventures together, including memorable bicycle trips through Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and West Virginia. At home, she enjoyed quiet evenings watching classic shows like “Gunsmoke” and films starring John Wayne and Randolph Scott. Diane looked forward to weekly card parties with friends and was a proud supporter of Liberty Center Tigers Football. One of her proudest accomplishments was her marriage to Kenneth Myles on April 10, 2009, after they had already shared 34 joyous years together.
Diane is survived by her devoted husband, Kenneth, and by her niece and nephew, who will carry her spirit in their hearts. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton and Deloris Gwinn, and her brother, Lanford “Lanny” Gwinn. Her legacy of love, laughter, and dedication to family and community will continue to inspire those who knew her.
