Diane Thompson ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Wiggin-Purdy-McCooey-Dion Funeral Home - Dover on Mar. 13, 2026.Diane Jeanne (Robidas) Thompson, 72, of Portsmouth, NH, died on March 8th, 2026 at Hyder House in Dover, NH, with her family by her side.She was born on March 20th, 1953 in Somersworth, NH, the daughter of George H. Robidas and Jeanne E. (Trudel) Robidas. She was predeceased by her daughter Julie Anne Thompson, her husband Daniel M. Thompson, both of her parents, her brother Daniel G. Robidas, and her nephew Alex P. Robidas.Diane is survived by her son Adam Daniel Thompson of Portsmouth & Somersworth, NH. Her sister Claire Robidas-Adams and her husband John of Alton Bay, NH. Her brother Paul Robidas and his wife Linda of North Conway, NH, and her sister Patricia Breton and her husband Kevin of Somersworth, NH. Diane is also survived by nieces and nephews: Saravuth Neou and his wife Michelle, Kristopher Robidas-Adams, Abigail (Breton) Ouellette and husband Phillip, Chloe Robidas, and Connor Breton. Along with her great nieces and nephews: Samhain & Maly Neou, Henry & Theo Ouelette.Diane attended St.Thomas Aquinas High School and went on to receive her Nursing Degree. She later went on to become the co-owner of Town & Country Janitorial Service of Portsmouth & Greenland, NH with her husband Daniel which they operated together for over 40 years.Diane was deeply loved and will be greatly missed her family and all of her friends, and was comforted by knowing she would once again be with her daughter Julie and husband Dan.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Seacoast Clubhouse, 155 Brewery Lane, Suite 102, Portsmouth, NH which provides a welcoming social community for young adults.Friends and family may call on Tuesday, March 17th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the Wiggin Purdy McCooey Dion Funeral Home, 655 Central Ave. Dover, NH.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
