She was predeceased by: her parents, Irene Kane and James Kane. She is survived by: her husband John Smith of Milford; her sons, Brandon Smith (Elizabeth) of Canton, Jarrett Smith (Evette) of Waterbury and Justin Smith (Susann) of Milford; her brother Brian Kane (Martha) of New Hampshire; her siblings-in-law, Robert Smith (Eileen) and Kathleen O'Connor Smith; her grandchildren, Laura, Ryan, Lena, MacKenzie and Madison; and her friends, Shirley, Margaret and Daisy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home (291 Bridgeport Ave, Milford, CT 06460). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A prayer will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 11:45 AM at the King's Highway Cemetery (271 Cherry St, Milford, CT 06460).
