Diane Cooper

Diane Cooper, 77, of Shreveport, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026. Born on November 20, 1948, she lived a life centered around family, kindness, and caring for others.

For many years Diane worked as a dietary manager, where she found deep fulfillment in serving and caring for the elderly. Her compassion and steady dedication touched countless lives throughout her career. At home she cherished life’s quieter pleasures, beginning each morning with a cup of coffee and her phone games, and often unwinding in the evening with her favorite shows on the Game Show Network. Warm-hearted and welcoming, Diane had a gift for making everyone around her feel like family.

She is survived by her loving life partner, Tommy Peavy; her children, Elizabeth Gaynor (Mike) and Lori Deal; and her grandchildren, Kristal Cook (Jamey), Aaron Gaynor (Lauren), Shelby Snyder (Ashley), Autumn Burbank (Cameron), and Timothy Deal. She also leaves behind her cherished great-grandchildren, Harper Snyder, Jaxson Moreno, Mitchell Snyder, and Kayten Moreno, along with the many children and grandchildren she lovingly claimed as her own.

Diane will be remembered for her kindness, her sense of humor, and the abundant love she shared with so many. Her gentle spirit and warm presence will live on in the hearts of her family and friends who will miss her deeply.
