Diane Cooper

Patricia Diane Cooper, 77, of Chesnee, South Carolina, passed away on March 14, 2026, at Regional Hospice Home.

Born on December 8, 1948, in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Sam Pruitt and Edna Watson Pruitt. Together with her husband, J.Y. Cooper, Diane operated Coopers Service Station on Highway 11. She was a longtime member of Alverson Grove Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Johnson (Robert) and Judy Henderson (Dean), all of Chesnee; her brother, Randall Pruitt of Mayo; thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and one on the way. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Crystal Gagnon; a son, Jimmy Cooper; and brothers Bud and Tommy Pruitt.

Diane lived a life rooted in family, hard work, and faith, leaving behind a legacy of love that continues through the many generations she cherished.
