Diana S. Imel

Diana S. Imel, 80, of Anderson, passed away on March 9, 2026, at Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis. Born on April 21, 1945, in Grayson, Kentucky, Diana lived a life centered on family and service. She proudly served as past president of VFW Post 266 and the Regional VFW Ladies Auxiliaries, and she brought joy to many by dressing as Gummy Bear the Clown. Above all, she cherished her role as a devoted homemaker.

She is survived by her children, Charline Bybee, Franklin (Michelle) Norman, and Don Anderson; her grandchildren, Candena Bybee, Lee Bybee, Nicholas VanHorm Palmer, Jenna Norman, Mallory Hakes, Troy Silvey, Katie Silvey, Alex Silvey, Ryan Silvey, John Silvey, Mark Williams, and Jonathon Williams; and several great-grandchildren, including Hunter Norman, Asher, and Evelyn Wendel, along with many nieces and nephews.

Diana was preceded in death by her father, Warren Hall; her mother, Bertha Elizabeth Kidd; her husbands, Eugene L. Anderson and John Imel; her daughters, Teresa Kay Williams and Carol Elizabeth Silvey; her brother, Douglas C. Kidd; and her grandson, Shawn Williams.
