Diana Turner ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Williamson Funeral Home (Williamson-Airsman-Hires) - Jacksonville on Mar. 17, 2026.Diana Marie "Mona" Turner, 70, of Jacksonville, passed away Monday, March 16, 2026, at Springfield Memorial Hospital.She was born Oct. 14, 1955, in Jacksonville, the daughter of Richard and Donna Marie (Davis) Edmiston.She is survived by two daughters, Tara Lynn Marie Edmiston of Jacksonville and Hope (Joe) Roberts of Springfield; two grandchildren, Jessi Lynn Marie Edmiston and Kaci (Moss) Edmiston; and two sisters, Debra McKean and Karen Carriger. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Kevin; and one sister, Janet.Mona worked at CR's Drive-In and EMI, both in Jacksonville. She loved all her animals and they were known as her babies. She enjoyed yard work and loved tending to her flowers and plants. If asked how she was doing, she would always say "fat and sassy." Mona especially loved spending time with her friends and family. She was dearly loved and will be missed greatly.The family will host services at a later date.
