She was born on March 14, 1950, in Anderson, Indiana, and resided most of her life in Anderson.Diana graduated from Anderson High School.She worked as a bartender for VFW in Anderson.She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion Post 127 in Anderson, Indiana.Diana is survived by her children, Jonathan Van Matre, Brian VanMatre and Wendy Van Matre; grandchildren, Wesley Adam (Kimberly) McGlenn, A.J., Dylan, Josiah, Anna, Rylee, Randy, Ali and Ke'ley; great-granddaughter, Zella; brother, Doug (Cheryl) Mitchell; sisters, Paula (Steve) Henderson and Denise (Bill) Alter and two special friends, Cheryl Kruger and Jackie Wingfield.She was preceded in death by her husband, Sterling Rowe VanMatre; mother, Barbara S.
