Services will be held Friday, March 20, 2026, 11:00 am, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. A visitation will begin at 10:00 am at the Chapel. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.Survivors include his daughter, Tiffany (Richard) Parish-Gutierrez, grandchildren, Andrew, Ethan, Jules and Josiah. A brother, Lee Goins, sisters, Diane Robinson and Marsha Sexton, along with several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents.Dewey "Mark" Goins was born November 14, 1956, in Lafayette, Indiana to Dewey and Marie Goins. He graduated from Cedar Rapids Washington High School. Mark had several occupations over the course of his lifetime including a recycler at North Liberty Plastics and a forklift operator at Pickwick Manufacturing in Cedar Rapids. In 2015, Tiffany found Mark after a search. This connection lead to Tiffany's care and advocating for him after a stroke and other challenging health conditions. Mark enjoyed vacationing, and especially spending time with his grandkids, his favorite pastime.A Celebration of Life will be held at Carlos O'Kelly's, 2635 Edgewood Rd SW, Cedar Rapids, beginning at 1:00 pm following the service at Cedar Memorial.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the family.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
