May 26, 1982— March 8, 2026
Siler City, NC
Devin Allen Jordan, 43, of Siler City, North Carolina, passed away on March 8, 2026. Born on May 26, 1982, in Siler City, he was the beloved son of Dennis Jordan and Donna Degraffenreidt and the cherished brother of Latoya Jordan, who was also his lifelong best friend.
From a young age, Devin attended Price Community Church of God and Prophecy, where he played the drums. Deeply influenced by his grandparents Clarence and Blondean Jordan, whom he lovingly called his parents, he learned the value of hard work early on, beginning by helping his grandfather mow lawns. He later watched his mother Donna’s dedication and entered the workforce as a mid-teenager. Devin spent nearly twenty years at Clifford Estes in Staley before working at PSI in Siler City. A 2000 graduate of Jordan Matthews High School, he was known for his sharp comedic timing, artistic talent, and warm presence that lit up any room. His love of music came from his father Dennis, whose Saturday morning James Brown “concerts” filled the house. Devin found joy in making others laugh, and he cherished his dogs, the outdoors, video games, Bruce Lee movies, and the Wu-Tang Clan. In recent years, he enjoyed collecting coins and staying busy with projects.
Above all, Devin’s family was the center of his world. The birth of his daughters Breyonna and Aleah gave him purpose. He later found love with his fiancée Jamie Spinks, and together with her children Jazmyn and Terrell, they welcomed their youngest daughter Summer. He took great pride in being “Grandpa Devin” to Julian and Daisani, sharing lively dance parties with them. He shared a special bond with his nephews Elijah and Luka, who affectionately called him “Uncle D.”
Preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Clarence Jordan, maternal grandmother Doris Degraffenreidt, and stepson Tyrell Headen, Devin is survived by his loving parents Dennis Jordan of Siler City and Donna Degraffenreidt of Greensboro, his grandmother Blondean Jordan of Siler City, his fiancée Jamie Spinks of Siler City, his daughters Breyonna and Aleah Jordan of Greensboro, Summer Jordan of Siler City, stepdaughter Jazmyn Headen of Siler City, grandchildren Daisani Price and Julian “Juju” Price, his sister Latoya Jordan and nephews Elijah and Luka Dorsey of McLeansville, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. He will be remembered for the laughter, love, and lasting impact he brought to every life he touched.
