Devera Trogdon Eggimann

Devera Trogdon Eggimann, 88, of Wendell, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. Born in Asheboro, North Carolina, on December 23, 1937, to Harlan and Bessie Bray Trogdon, she grew up with a spirit of independence that defined her life.

Devera was a successful businesswoman who owned and operated Swiss Masters, a cake and candy supply store in Raleigh. Later, she worked alongside her husband, providing valuable assistance with his company, Electronic Products Design. She shared 61 devoted years with her husband, Peter Eggimann, before his passing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Peter, and her brother David Trogdon. Devera is survived by her daughter, Michelle Eggimann Glidewell and son-in-law Tony; her grandson, Travis Glidewell; her sister, Byrdette Bledsoe; her niece, Joanna Poole; and her nephew, James Medlin and his wife Wendy.
