He is survived by: his significant other Brittany Depper of Chester; his children, Hunter of Millstadt, Raelyn, Kaylee, Karsen and Braedyn; his siblings, Danelle Long (Chris) of New Athens and Michael Downey Jr.; and his grandmother Janet Morefield of Waterloo. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 17th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Chester Evergreen Cemetery (501 W Holmes St, Chester, IL 62233).
The preferred form of remembrance is memorial contributions to the family.
