Denzil R. Woodfell

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Denzil R. Woodfell (Ripley, West Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 6, 2026 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Denzil shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Denzil farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his mother Mildred Woodfell; his wife Norma Jean Woodfell; and his sister Geraldine Casto. He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Woodfell and Sandra Woodfell of Statts Mill.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Waybright Funeral Home (511 S Church St, Ripley, WV 25271). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
