Passed March 8, 2026
Isanti, MN
Dennis Ray Robyn, a beloved father, brother, grandfather, and father-in-law, passed away on March 8, 2026, at the age of 78 at Ecumen North Branch.
Born in Milaca, Minnesota, to Arthur and Sophie (Otten) Robyn, Dennis spent much of his childhood in Ogilvie. In 1962, his family moved to Circle Pines, where he graduated from high school in 1965. That same year, on October 11, he married Wanda Ringler, and the couple began their life together in San Diego, California. Dennis served in the United States Navy from 1965 to 1968. After his service, they returned to Minnesota, settling first in Coon Rapids until 1976, when they made their home in Isanti.
Dennis worked as a foreman at Vincent Metals in Little Canada. He was known for his strong work ethic and his deep love of the outdoors. He found great pleasure in trap shooting, tending to his hobby farm, and appreciating classic cars, often sharing stories about their craftsmanship and history. His loyal dog, Murray, was a constant and cherished companion. Above all, Dennis treasured time spent with family and friends, offering a quiet strength and kindness that left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
He is lovingly remembered by his daughter Roxanne, his son Todd (Kelly), his granddaughter Sophie, and his brother Wayne (Candy), along with other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Wanda, his parents, and an infant brother, Roger. The memories of days on the farm, at the shooting range, and in quiet conversation will continue to live in the hearts of those who loved him.
