Dennis Malvin Mullican

Dennis Malvin Mullican, 77, of Baskin, Louisiana, passed away on March 9, 2026. A devoted Vietnam War veteran, he served his country before devoting many years to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Vicksburg, Mississippi, where he worked in the Engineering Department. He found lasting peace and joy in fishing and tending the family farm, pursuits that remained central to his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Malvin and Julie Mullican, and his brother, Andrew Mullican.

Dennis is survived by his daughter, Jerri Johnston, and her daughter, Briley; his brothers, John Mullican and Steve Mullican; his sisters, Kathaleen Doughty, Margie Andrews and husband Buddy, Barbara Taylor and husband Mike, and Susie Taylor and husband Bill; and his special nephew, Micah Mullican and wife Victoria, along with a host of other nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
