Dennis James Kalinoski

Dennis James Kalinoski, aged 82, of Elyria, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on March 7, 2026. Born on September 21, 1943, Denny grew up in Strongsville, Ohio, with his five brothers. He found deep joy in conversation and connection, always making time to reach out to family and friends.

A lifelong enthusiast of Cleveland sports, Denny followed the Browns and Guardians with unwavering passion. He worked for many years at USG before retiring in 2001.

He is now reunited with his mother, Catherine; his father, Stanley; and his brothers, Ken and Tom. Denny is survived by his brothers Jim, John, and Tim, and by his four children, David Kalinoski, Denise (Joe) Dobbins, Mickey (Michelle) Rister, and Heather (Eric) Herschler. His legacy lives on through his grandchildren, Doug Dobbins, Kyle Dobbins, Kayla McCartey, Corey Herschler, Lucas Herschler, Maryssa Brown, Breanna Cochran, Stacey Kalinoski, Brittany Kalinoski, Allen Rister, Austin Rister, and Owen Rister, and his 25 great-grandchildren.
