Dennis G. Werner

Dennis G. Werner of West Chicago passed away leaving behind a lifetime of love, devotion, and cherished memories with family and friends.

Born in Chicago, Dennis was a proud Chicagoan through and through.  He shared an extraordinary 63 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Patricia - a partnership built on deep love, loyalty, and unwavering support.  Together they created a strong and loving family and raised three sons: Dennis (Anne), Douglas (Cheryl), and David (Denise).

Dennis was preceded in death by his oldest son, Dennis, whom he loved dearly and remembered always.

Family was the center of Dennis' world.  He took immense pride in his five grandchildren - Kevin, Brennan, Brooke, Courtney, and Sean - who brought him endless joy.  He was a devoted grandfather who loved attending their sporting events, sharing laughter, and stories.

Pro Wrench Truck Service, Inc. was at the core of Dennis's working life, and he was extremely proud of establishing this business on his own.  His hard work, dedication, and skill as a mechanic lead to an opportunity to open his own truck repair service in 1985.  This business prospered for over 35 years and his company was a staple in the community which was located in Carol Stream.  He was extremely hard working and was a diesel mechanic for over 50 years.

Dennis was also a passionate Chicago sports fan.  You could always find him cheering on his hometown teams - the Chicago Bears, Chicago Blackhawks, and Chicago Cubs.  The Werner family were Chicago Bears season ticket holders for over 75 years.  The biggest highlight was attending Super Bowl XX in New Orleans where the Chicago Bears won easily over the New England Patriots.  Whether watching a game at home or talking sports with family and friends, his enthusiasm for Chicago teams was part of what made him so endearing.

Dennis will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his steady presence, and the love he shared with those closest to him.  His legacy lives on through the family he cherished and the many memories they will hold in their hearts forever.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
