Pastor Dennis Francis Price of Surgoinsville passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family. A devoted pastor, he spent his life sharing the message of Jesus Christ with all who crossed his path. Whether in the pulpit or in quiet conversation, he offered hope, comfort, and encouragement, living out his faith with sincerity and compassion. His kindness and genuine care for others left a lasting impression on countless lives.
Dennis was a loving husband to Carol Kersey Price, his wife of 70 years. Their marriage was rooted in shared faith and a deep commitment to family and ministry. Together they created a home centered on love, service, and caring for those in need. Dennis cherished his role as husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, drawing strength and joy from his family throughout his years of ministry.
He was preceded in death by his siblings J.C. Price, Norris Price, and Minnie Ruth Allen. Dennis is survived by his wife, Carol Price; his children, Jerry Price and wife Jacki, and Patti Davis and husband Ron; and his grandchildren, Crysti Hawkins and husband Greg, Dustin Bowling and wife Barbara, and Dennis Bowling and wife Julia. He is also survived by his brothers, Donald Price and William Price, as well as many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren who brought him great happiness.
Those who knew Pastor Dennis Price will remember a man whose life reflected the faith he proclaimed. His legacy of love, service, and devotion to Christ continues in the hearts of his family, his church community, and all whose lives he touched.
