Great Falls, MT
Dennis Eugene Lesmeister, 66, of Great Falls, Montana, passed away on March 6, 2026, following complications from heart surgery.
Born on May 23, 1959, in Great Falls, Dennis attended Holy Family Catholic School through ninth grade and graduated from Great Falls High School. At a young age he began working at his father’s service station, Lions Park Conoco, where he spent nearly 20 years. He later dedicated 27 years of service to Benefis as head groundskeeper before retiring in 2024.
Dennis was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Tammy Lesmeister, and by his parents, Don and Irene Lesmeister. He is lovingly remembered by his son, Jeremy Lesmeister, and daughter-in-law, Kary Lesmeister; his sisters, Terri Marsac and Kathy Lesmeister; his brother, Donnie Lesmeister and PJ Sweeney; along with his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Proud to call Montana home, Dennis cherished memories of hunting and fishing with family and friends in his younger years. He enjoyed bowling, playing darts, and shooting pool in local leagues, and was a lifelong Minnesota Vikings fan who was thrilled to attend his first Vikings game with his son and daughter-in-law in 2023. He loved old-school rock and roll, attending concerts with his family, and looked forward each spring to watching his favorite baseball team, the Dodgers, a passion he once shared with his mother. Known for his easygoing nature and wonderful sense of humor, Dennis had a special gift for making people laugh. He treasured the time spent with his son and family above all else, and his warm presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
