Dennis E Young

Mr. Dennis E. Young, aged 71, of Temple, peacefully passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026. Born in Atlanta on October 3, 1954, Dennis was the beloved son of the late Thomas Edwin Young and Geneva (Terry) Young. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Ann Richard.

Dennis dedicated fifteen years to his role as a Manager with Billings Freight, a position he deeply enjoyed. He had a passion for the outdoors, finding joy in fishing and hunting. Cherished moments included going on cruises with his wife and spending quality time with his family. Dennis and Teresa shared a remarkable bond as high school sweethearts, celebrating fifty-five years, one month, and two days together.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Teresa Young of Temple; his son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Kayla Young of Jackson; his daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Jason Chamberlian of Carrollton; his brother and sister-in-law, Darwin and Brenda Young of Chatsworth; his sister, Sheila Durmire of Jackson; his grandchildren Peyton, Triston, Ansley, Lilah, Evie, and Lincoln; his great-grandchildren Ella and Bristol; along with numerous other relatives.

In keeping with Dennis’s wishes, he will be cremated.
