Denise Rose Lillis

Denise Rose (Talburt) Lillis, 72, of Quitman, Arkansas, formerly of Mountain Home, passed away on March 12, 2026, at her home in Quitman. Born on October 26, 1953, in Batesville, Arkansas, to Eugene Caroll and Nellie Rae (Dozier) Talburt, Denise was a woman of quiet faith who loved the Lord Jesus Christ and attended Twin Lakes Baptist Church in Mountain Home.

She found joy in creating with her hands, spending many hours making crafts and crocheting. Denise had a special gift for turning everyday materials into small treasures—she fashioned delicate angels from ribbons, crosses from rocks, and transformed countless other objects into trinkets and pieces of jewelry. Her creativity brought beauty and thoughtfulness to those around her.

Denise will be remembered with great affection by her family and everyone whose life she touched. She is survived by her son, Steve Herring; daughters, Cheri Gosser (Todd Davis) and Frances Wilson (Alex Wilson); eleven grandchildren, including Camille Rivas, Zaine Wilson, Wesley Stair, Preston Stair, Brandon Gosser, and Aidan Gosser; six great-grandchildren, Kaylyn Stair, Brantley Stair, Kinslee Stair, Isabelle Stair, Karsyn Stair, and Canyon Stair; cousins Rodney and Wanda Dozier; aunt Evelyn Dozier; and nephew Joey Talburt. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Harold Talburt.
