Scott Funeral Home, Inc. on Mar. 9, 2026.Denise passed away peacefully on February 27, 2026 at the age of 68 with loved ones at her side.Denise, lovingly known as Nene, was a mother, nana, sister, aunt, and friend who was full of love and loyalty. She is survived by her daughter, Mandy (Josh) Lanning; her two grandchildren, Logan and Laine Lanning; her sisters, Laurie (Joe Ceraci) Hillen, and Kristen (Lou) Sorrento; her brother, Kenny Hillen; along with eight nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews.Nene was preceded in death by her father, Francis "Pete" Hillen; her mother, Rosie Hillen; her brother, Keith Hillen, and her brother Brian Hillen.Nene spent her days raising her daughter Mandy, then later spending time with her grandsons and babysitting her many nieces and nephews. Above all, Nene loved deeply and wholly. She lived for her grand babies and would do anything for family and friends. She also had a love for animals and was never without a fur baby or two.Nene will be deeply missed by all who knew her and were fortunate enough to feel her love and warmth.A celebration of life will be held on June 27, 2026 at B.
