"Dee" Wilcox, 69, passed away Friday, March 6, 2026, at the Presque Isle Healthcare Center. She was born March 18, 1956, in Houlton, the daughter of Robert and Marie (McKeen) Perrigo.Denise grew up in Bridgewater and graduated from Central Aroostook High School in 1974. She continued her education at Northern Maine Vocational Institute, earning an associate's degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Denise was employed as a LPN at TAMC, A.R. Gould before retiring after thirty-two years of loving and compassionate care.Denise married Kevin Wilcox on December 26, 1980, and would share over forty-five years of marriage together. She enjoyed cooking, reading, and loving on her pets.She is survived by her husband, Kevin H. Wilcox of Presque Isle, two stepdaughters, Christina Wheeler and her husband, Brian of Fort Fairfield, Heather McEwen and Jason of Oakland, nine step grandchildren, and five step great-grandchildren. Denise also leaves behind a brother, Robert "Bob" Perrigo, and a special niece, Lori Higdon Santos.In addition to her parents, Denise was predeceased by a sister, Katrina Hidgon.There will be no services at this time. Those who wish to remember Denise in a special way may make gifts in her memory to the Central Aroostook Humane Society (210 Cross St., Presque Isle, ME 04769).
