Denise Clare Gonzalez

Denise Clare Gonzalez was born on September 6, 1978, in San Antonio, Texas, and passed away on March 6, 2026.

A graduate of Blessed Hope Academy, Denise later attended San Antonio College and pursued her dream of becoming a veterinary technician. She possessed a deeply compassionate heart and could not resist helping any stray animal that crossed her path. Generous and steadfast, she stood beside those she cared about, offering her hand and her support through every challenge.

Joe was the love of her life. Though they were not officially married, they shared a devoted partnership and built their dreams together for a brighter future. Denise cherished her family above all else and remained grateful for the unwavering support of her grandmother and mother. Private by nature, she loved deeply and quietly; those fortunate enough to be in her circle knew without doubt they were treasured.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Rodolfo Gonzalez, and is survived by her loving parents, Sylvia and John Townsend; her grandmother, Bertha Gonzalez; her brother, Dylan Townsend; and her extended family, Diana Wolfe (Jimmy) and Hector Gonzalez (Lori). Her family loved her unconditionally and finds comfort knowing that Grandpa Rudy is now by her side once more.
