Dencil Preast

We are sad to announce that on March 8, 2026, at the age of 92, Dencil Preast (Oak Hill, West Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Preast and Lula Preast; his wife Audrey; his son Dale Preast; and his brothers, Thomas, Jerry and Dennis Preast.

He is survived by: his daughter Debbie McVey (Richard); his daughter-in-law Peggy Preast; his granddaughters, Heather Hundley and Valerie Endicott (Jeff); his great grandchildren, Kenna Preast, Silas, Hannah, Paul Hundley, Luke, Lilly, Logan and Lyla Endicott; his siblings, Howard (Cathy), David (Evie), Cecil Jr. Preast (Nancy), Carolyn Young and Mary Taylor (Gaylord); his grandson Dale Preast Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Cameron Preast and Levi Endicott.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Victory Independent Baptist Church (21037 Midland Trail, Victor, WV 25938). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hospice of Southern West Virginia.
